Chnage is in the works...

So Kyle and I moved Kustom Contracting & Design to an actual office location a couple of weeks ago. It's nice to have it out of the house, but at the same time it stresses me out as i don't have everything at my fingertips anymore. I also work at night sometimes and moving it has made that not so convenient. BUT, it will provide us an opportunity to continue growing the business. We are in the midst of launching "Around To It" which will be a Professional Handyman Service. People's favorite procrastination answer seems to be, "when i get around to it." So that's where we come in!

Kiera has found an entertaining spot in the kitchen. It is a really good thing as i can get almost all the way through dinner while she completely empties the cupboard :)

Super super super fun to collect State Quarters with the kids. Kienan starting asking everyone if they had any state quarters. :) We went through a slew of them and found all the states that have been released in the passed 10 years. We are now just waiting for this years and we have a complete collection! It was a proud "teacher moment" when kienan and mackenzie were sorting the quarters. Kienan could find quarters that were the same state and Mackenzie was sorting by similarities. All quarters that had trees and all quarters that had animals. Lots of FUN!

I had to include a picture of josh and his wild side :) In his free time he enjoys swinging from the monkey bars like wild ape. He only has 2 more weeks of school and he will have completed his junior year!

Mackenzie informed me the other day that we were going to make Fruit Salad. So we did. She emptied out all the fruit that we had in the drawer and i cut it up while she stirred. We added some granola and some brown sugar. i was thrilled since she is not the most healthy eater of the family. i thought for sure it would be gone by the end of the day. Of course, she didn't like it :(. But she still LOVES to be in the kitchen! She must get that passion from both of her great grandmas :)

So here's to change, collecting treasures, experimenting in the kitchen, letting out your wild side, and exploring the unknown!
